Itís time to test your coordination and driving skills in Rally. The object of this game is to finish the race track with the best time record; however, itís not easy to control your character using just the arrow keys on the keyboard.
At the beginning of the game you have the choice of choosing your racing character. Be sure to look at their statistics closely before choosing which one you want for you as each character has different weaknesses and strengths that can affect the outcome of your race. You can choose to be the Monkey, Zed or Three Foot Ninja. The monkey, for example, has less acceleration than the other characters, but has good grip which may come in handy for those dicey turns on the race track.
After you have chosen the driver you want, you will then be taken to a screen where you can choose from three different tracks to race on. You can choose between the jungle (easiest), the highway (medium) or Chinatown (the hardest) race tracks. A picture of the tracks will show you what kind of conditions you will face. This is why it is important to carefully study and select your driver so that you know which track will work the best for them. For instance, if you chose the monkey then choosing a track with a lot of turns might be helpful because the monkey has good griping power.
Once you have chosen your player and your desired race track, itís time to put the pedal to the metal and race. To move your player you will need to use the arrow keys on your keyboard. The up key is the acceleration while the left and right arrow keys move the racer in that direction. The down arrow key will move you backwards in case you go off track or hit one of the nasty obstacles in the way. Keep in mind that to be able to turn the racer in any direction you must also continue to hold down the up key (accelerator) or else you will just sit there not going anywhere. Have fun!
